Ok, here goes nothing!
Friday, I had classes and then drove with Emily and Stephen to the airport where they dropped me off and I caught my flight to Atlanta, got to haul ass to a new terminal to catch my connection to Boston and then after getting on the plane, flew around Rhode Island for an hour... ARGLE! So I finally got to Boston and Colin was waiting for me, we got my bag and got on the T. Pretty much too tired to do anything so we went to bed and then Carolyn called at 1 am and she and Eddy came up and she got her chickenfila... Really funny drunken kid kept just walking in and asking us the same questions over and over again... made me giggle.
Saturday we woke up and took showers and then headed over to the student union where I bought a Northeastern hoodie and sweatpants and Colin bought me an adorable bear that I love! Then it was off to the airport to pick up Sarah. She got there and their parents called to say they were in town which was bad since we were half an hour away but yeah, it all worked out. We went back and got ready for dinner and shopping and then went and met his parents at the Pru... I swear I almost threw up like 5 times cuz I was so nervous... Anyway, then we went and got a light lunch cuz it was almost 3 and we were eating at 6... So it's still kinda raining(has been all along) but we walk around Newbury street until about 5 and then head over and get his parents car and head to Anthem. OMG it was sooooo good! Coloin ordered a beer and they didn't card him so he was all "hehe" Sarah and I got shirley temples and Pops made fun of us... (I call his parents Mum and Pops when I'm not actually talking to them... yeah, I avoided calling them anything this weekend...) So we got spinach and avocado fondue which was sooooooooo amazingly good (Colin, you should learn how to make it...) Then I got a grilled veggie pizza which was super and Colin had meatloaf with Texas toast... The Texas toast sparked a conversation about the differences between regular toast and Texas toast. (Everything is bigger in Texas) So after dinner, we went back to Colin's dorm and unloaded his birthday presents and stuff he'd asked his parents to bring and we said goodbye. Then Colin and I went over to Carolyn's and watched Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants with Carolyn and Leigh and Carolyn made cookies... mmmm
Sunday we woke up and Colin went and got pans so I could make his cake and he got me frosted mini wheats :-D. So I did his laundry with a little help from him, then I made his cake and we watched Nick GAS (it made me think of Seanilicious). Around 12:30, we went to Au Bon Pain and got some grub, then went back and watched more pointless TV while his roommate got high in their room (I didn't say anything even though I wanted too...) So around 2:00 we headed for the airport only to find out my flight was delayed until 6. So we got in line so I could check my bag (I did online check-in so I had my boarding pass) well, we waited... and then the lady came around and said I was going to miss my connection that I should just stay in Boston for the night and fly out first thing this morning... So I called the headquarters for Continental and she told me it would cost $150 to change since my flight hadn't been cancelled. So I pitched a fit and THEN she thought to check my flight from Newark to Savannah only to discover it to had been delayed. So I got through the line, checked my bag, went and grabbed food, then had to say goodbye once again to the love of my life. It was at that point that I decided I can't do this anymore so we have both been exploring transferring... Anyway, I finally got on my flight and got to Newark and had to change terminals thus going BACK through security... I don't get it, I really don't. ANYWAY, I finally made it to the gate where I needed to be, was told that flight wasn't taking off until 8:25 (it was about 7:45) so I went and got chocolate cake to reduce my stress. Well at 8:25, the plane was there but the flight attendant hadn't shown... GRRR they had to call another one in so we could take off and that took until 10. So I sat in the Newark airport until 9:50 when I finally got to board my flight to Savannah. Got into Savannah around midnight and then Stephen and Emily picked me up and we went to Eagle Diner (I went so Stephen didn't hafta drop me off) Then I finally got home around 2 am...
That was my weekend... Thank you and good night
