And just like that he's gone...

It hurts. I am beginning to hate the distance more and more with every moment that we're apart. If I could, I would just drop out of school and move up there. But that isn't the way life works. Right now, I need to be studying. I can't focus on the material, I can't even focus long enough to write the traditional love letters that Colin and I write after every time we get to see one another. I cannot find the words to tell him just how much he means to me.

So he met Emily cuz she rode with me to the airport Thursday night. Once we got back, he proposed with the ring and I got way to hyper to sleep... Friday morning was classes with a major show-off especially in Psychology... Then I came back, grabbed Colin and my stuff and we hit the road. Mapquest directions to Millegeville suck. We ended up at the Georgia Military College or somewhere like that so Sean and Jen came by and we followed them back to their room. Quick little stop and then the 3 of us got on the road for Snellville. We dropped Sean off at her house and then went back to my house where we pretty much turned around and left for the Brookwood/South football game. I played ring switcharoo a bizillion times and probably really freaked Colin out cuz he was nervous enough without adding the little fact that we're engaged to the weekend... Lucky guy met Christina at the game... I think she scared him a bit but it's all good... (XA, I'm kidding) we looked for XE only to find out she was working :-( At half time, Sean dropped us off at my house and we went to bed.

Saturday we were gonna go to the fair but Will wanted to go to the mall, then I got too tired so we went to the Verizon store where I was informed that my phone is messed up because I got it wet... so I bought a new phone (same phone... but new.) Well anyway, now it doesn't work with my charger so I hafta go figure out what that is before the warranty on this phone is up in 90 days... Then we went to Target. Oh how I miss Target... the boys wouldn't even let me walk down the arts and crafts aisle... oh well, Colin bought Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy which we watched most of after we went to Marble Slab and got ice cream. Then we packed everything up and went to Will's football game. Colin was so adorable taking pictures which are now on my computer and I need to burn onto a disk for my mom... blah. But so after Colin whined about Will not getting to play enough, the game ended, Will's team won and Colin and I hit the road. I managed to stay awake until we got on 16 (Colin was driving) but then he started to get tired so I woke up, we were gonna switch but he woke up enough to get us home.

Today we got up and went to church where I got to show off my ring which got mucho approval from the church fam. After church we went to walmart and got the makings for chicken soup which was oh so yummy. Then we did some other stuff and went to Zaxby's so Colin could try it because it is yummy in the tummy. After Zaxby's it was off to the airport. Not easy, I swear it gets harder everytime. I managed to keep it together until I got home which is good because when I did start crying everything else got sick feeling again... I hated being sick while he was here, it came and went but I felt bad...

Only 19 more days. Then I get to meet his parents. I'm not nervous as of now. I guess I've figured out that our families are a lot alike. Plus, seeing him interacting with Will made everything feel even more right. I'm the luckiest gal in the world...
