Just got the letter in today from the insurance company turning down my claim because I failed to meet performance targets set by my employer. I blame that **** for writing that horrible letter of dismissal which twisted things around to make me look really bad. I hate him for doing that, it was completely unnecessary to be so nasty on the letter, and I really don't deserve this. I was less than enthusiastic (but I never refused) to do (shitloads of)unpaid overtime, they mucked me about sending me from one shop to another when I was still trying to learn my way about, so no wonder I was a little slower than the staff who knew their way about. They never even gave me a full 3 month trial!
Bitter? Damn right I'm bitter...
So much for taking my time and being fussy about getting a decent job, now I'll probably have to just to take a shitty job quickly before I lose my house when I start running outta money to pay my mortgage. I'm going to ask to take a payment holiday for a month to give myself a chance. Dunno if they'll let me but it's worth a try. Buys me some time. There's always the option renting the spare room but *shudders* that's a last resort following the last flatmate-from-hell experience! As is asking for my old job in the £ shop a last resort.
I was enjoying not having to work, but back to harsh reality soon and a crappy job. *sighs*
