Kuh*ai Cute

Speaking of crude language- The kids around here through around English cuss words with as little care as I have when I use German or Spanish profanity. Lol. Because it doesn't really mean anything to them. Nor does it mean anything to the teachers, who also don't care. So I'm the only one who is ever shocked to hear "f*ck" in the middle of class.
Also, there was a half-dead beetle on the second floor which I flung over the railing to the ground below, shouting "Die mutherf*ck*r!" Which I then had to teach to the girl who was with me. She also promised to later teach me Chinese profanity.

<3 slang.

Kiki- the Taiwanese have a similar annoying habit to the handshaking. At dinner, everyone does "Cheers" to everyone else about a hundred times. You have to avoid eye contact or else someone is going to raise his/her glass to you and say something in Chinese that you can't understand and you just have to smile and nod and drink. And repeat with the next person you accidentally make eye contact with. -_-; People here are soooo friendly. It's almost a burden.
Also, I've been offered alcohol for this ritual about a hundred times, but my host parents (thankfully) come to my rescue with the 4 D's which they hold with high importance. I think my Rotary club is new to the hosting thing, cause they are following every rule and guideline religiously.

There's an exchange student coming from Brazil tomorrow who will also be attending my high school. I'm sooo excited.
