(no subject)
Just talked to my dad, seems he made plans for us on Father's Day. My step-brother Mike is coming too. We are going out on our boat to do some hard-x-core deep sea fishing w00t w00t. Dad says we are getting down to our boat, which we keep at Sea World Marina, at around 5:30am on Saturday morning, I guess he wants to go Saturday instead of on actual Father's Day, since he has work that next monday. He says we're going out about 15 to 20 miles off shore, I've never been that far out in the ocean in a boat this size before (26 ft Cabin Cruiser). It wil be interesting, hope I don't get sea sick. I've been out abour 60 miles before on some HUGE Navy ship, that was really cool. But back to my fishing trip.
Dang we have to get up early to get down there, I'd better go to bed super early, like around 7 or 8, no joke, I don't want to be draggin' all day from not getting enough sleep the previous night, been there done that, and guess what, I don't like it.
The fish reports have been my dad says. The yellowtail and albacore have been biting pretty regularly at about the distance off shore that I mentioned earlier (about 15-20 miles out). I've never caught a tuna before so that'd be pretty exciting if I caught myself a decent sized yellowtail or albacore. I love smoked yellowtail, doesn't even taste like fish AT ALL. Taste more like beef jerkey, but you have a whole thick FILLET of it.
It's been awhile since I've been out deep sea fishing, I'm really excited, but I always get sea sick. This time I'm gonna hopefully wear one of those patches behind my ear, take a dramamine, and wear one of those watches around my wrist, just to be extra safe that I don't ruin it for them like always.
I still haven't found a gift for my dad yet. I have NO idea what he'd like. Oh well I'll just snag something at Target or wherever. He's usually ok with anything I get him ;).
Ok well, talk to y'all later on then. Back to being bored and lonely without my car and without anyone to drive around even if I did have it. CALL ME SOMEONE! Tell me if you want my number I'll be happy to give it to you.
