(no subject)
Had a good time hangin' with Cindy all that weekend. She has 2 doggies, schnauwzers (sp?) and they are very cute!! The boy (Harley) totally digs me and the girl (Chloe) won't stop licking me.... my face that is. LOL I like Harley the best... he plays with me and I can be rough with him and he is rough right back.
I cooked dinner that Friday night... It was nice... It has been a long time since I have been able to totally hang out with a girl and set a mood and just enjoy each others company and conversation the whole evening and on... you know set a mood/atmosphere, fix dinner, candles everywhere and around the bathtub (big garden tub, YUM), drink a little wine, dance a little and look at each other in the candle light, walk the dogs together, and cuddle a little (yeah, I dig cuddling! so what!) And lounge and barely get dressed the whole weekend except to go out and walk the dogs (yeah, naked dog walking... woo hoo!!!) or to some friends of her's house (Kenna and Lisa) for a crawfish boil for Kari's birthday. We had alot of fun, but I got attacked by mosquitoes!! Cuz I had shorts on... They are some fun people and almost all of 'em are older than me!!! LOL Hello, they have a WaveRunner (like I used to have only nicer lol) so we will be going to the lake ahhhlot!!
I was leaving to go to work at Empire that morning, but I turned around and came right back because that is when I found out that I no longer worked there. Yes folks I will no longer work on the weekends after almost 2 years of doing it! I was "taken off the schedule" because someone (an Asst. Manager!) told a big ole lie when I called in sick the weekend before.(someone else calls it a "misunderstanding") No worries though, I don't think I'm going to work on the weekends anymore anywhere, except the bartending gig that I got coming up the first Friday in June, and maybe if Jack wants me to "just help out" at the Daily Grind on Washington.
Then it rained that Sunday, so I didn't have a soccer game again, and so we just sorta lounged and hung out on the couch together watching movies and napping off and on. It was very comfortable and soothing... After the work week I had and then to find out about Empire (good thing I called on my way in... driving in from Clear Lake to get the boot would have sucked) It was just what I needed... and I didn't realize just how long I had needed it and missed that sorta calmness with someone. But, Cindy also knows now that I'm somewhat of a FREAK... (I'll just leave it at that) but, so far that has not bothered her... but, (to quote Ms. C.P.C) "we'll see". ;o)
Had an OK week last week... tried to stay at Cindy's apartment once during the week, but the drive in from Clear Lake is about an hour and I have to leave at like 6ish to get to work on time! So, that ain't gonna happen too often in the future. But, she is moving inside the loop closer to the Med. Center where she works and she will be a lot closer then. Kewl!
Then she pretty much spent the whole Easter weekend with me at my place... We were supposed to go and visit with my Mom and Dad but didn't quite make it... LOL
I think I'm going to finally be able to play soccer this weekend since it isn't supposed to rain and I won't be sick. And since the rodeo is over, Cindy is going to come and watch... Oh brother!! LOL It isn't at Bear Creek this weekend... so maybe we really will get to play even if the fields are wet!!! *big smile*
