(no subject)
Had a pretty good birthday...
Got some phone calls and emails from people in and out of town... I really need to go to Florida again soon... I have some friends there that I really want to go see again. People at work were wondering why they didn't know and that no one was really doing anything, and I said I didn't want to make a big deal of it (which is unusual for me because I make a big deal of everybody else's birthday). Its a day that you can say to them... This is a day that is yours, and I'm very glad you were brought into this world and are here in my life!
I didn't have any plans with anyone, but I ended up having dinner with a friend out in Clear Lake last night. I was kind of apprehensive about it at first, but I have to admit... the conversation was good, and I ended up having a pretty good time after all. She is on a Rodeo committee and is going to badge me in and take me to a couple of shows. I have several friends that have been on a committee for a while, and they seem to like it a lot... I know I like them being on a committee a lot!! LOL Then I think a group of us might go out afterwards on Friday night. Hmmmm....
Doing the family thing this weekend on Saturday... It is supposed to be a nice weekend... hope so... I have a game on Sunday and if it doesn't quit raining on the weekends, I will have to look forward to the summer season and indoor soccer!
Work is stressin' me out, but I just keep it to myself... But DAM!!!
Had tickets to the ballet, but gave them away cuz I can't get anyone to go with me!!! LOL Yes, I like the ballet and the symphony... so whatever!!!
Yep, another birthday come and gone (not just another birthday... a milestone of sorts) now I just need to turn another corner...
