San Francisco Day Two, Three, Four and Five
Bet you're wondering where the other days went. Well, on Tuesday, we went to Dreamworks Animation SKG. They shows us around the first floor, let us take pictures. Then made us sign an NDA and took us upstairs to the "secret" areas. Oooh. Yeah, they pretty much showed us drawings of the new characters, set designs, how the shot was set up, animated, lighted, etc. Pretty awesome if you ask me. I can't really talk about it though. I could tell you about Shrek 3, but then I'd have to kill you - as the saying goes.
Anyways, later that day (or night) we went to an Elton John concert. As much as I like to see famous people, but Elton John? Anybody but Elton John. But hey, you can't complain about free stuff. Oh and the food. I think I gained a few pounds just from that dinner. (They had STEAK buffet, who can say no to that?) We all came back exhausted. Most people were asleep, but I think we went searching for a bar with a pool table.
Thursday was the Bay Cruise.. around the bay. Sailed near Alcatraz Island, Golden Gate Bridge. It was freezing though. Aftwards we went shopping for stuff. Then there was the award ceremony. Speak of the famous that were there. Pretty cool.
Right. Friday was the farewell dinner. That was sad. It felt like we all knew each other so well, yet we knew so little.
So that's it. There's lots of details in between but those are really for me to remember.
Yeah, this kind of thing doesn't come very often in a lifetime.
