He's back. I was sure he wouldn't leave me here on purpose, but...
Oh, well. It doesn't matter now. Hijikata-san is back, so I won't have to chase down any owls to make them give him back to me. And Okita-san is back too. Now maybe we can just put this whole thing behind us, and things will be happy again.
Yamanami-san and Kondou-san have a kitten! I want to go play with it but... maybe when I'm a little less tired. I guess I wasn't sleeping very well. I don't think I could convince Hijikata-san to let me have a cat here...

I haven't been sick like this in awhile... it's a little better now, thankfully, or Hijikata-san would think I wasn't taking care of myself. But it's... scary. And Kondou-san knows. Which means Yamanami-san might know, too. I didn't want them to find out... I don't want to hurt Kondou-san like that.
The rain has stopped and everything has dried out. Hopefully that will help.
