Last weekend, Suketu and Arun came up to Chicago. I haven't seen them in a while. I was able to meet Suketu's co-worker who went to the same university that I studied abroad last summer. He was a nice guy and we ended up talking about the good German beer that I miss. After we dropped him off at the Naperville train station, we went to Portillo's for dinner. We went to a new 36 hole mini-golf course and batting cage by my house. The golf course was really cool and challenging. I can barely get decent contact on a 80-85 mph fastball. After that, we tried to make it to the midnite showing of Harold and Kumar. There wasn't a showing. So, we ended up watching the Village, which was a decent movie. Not as good as his other movies tho.
On Saturday, I showed up at the movie theater earlier than the rest of the group. While I was in line, I grabbed their I-cards to buy the tickets for them. I had 6 college ids and for some reason, I still got carded. I had to show them my driver's license and I still don't understand why I still get carded for rated-R movies. It sucks, but oh well. Before the movie, I told Suketu that we should make our own movie Ryan and Suketu go to Taco Bell like our days back at uofi. There were some scenes in the movie that we did back in Champaign. Ah, Good Times. The movie was hilarious, and I recommend it.
