[There's a flicker of what may be the golden glow of a flame on Gellert's face, but it just makes the shadows surrounding him deeper. If anybody met him before, they'd now notice his features have lost their brightness and under his eyes are shaded darkly as if he's been having trouble sleeping. He shivers then begins talking to the camera ( Read more... )

Demenetors?.. You wouldn't happen to have a happy thought I could borrow?

The energy may help you if you were physically next to me but I cannot help anyone in other cities.

They drain emotions, pulling all happiness from you and feasting on your misery.

Well, I haven't any happy thoughts... Anymore anyways. Those have all turned bitter before having even had come here anyways. But that's besides the point, yes

Suppose there's some spell to you could use to ward them off- Wait... Why isn't your magic working?! Have some anti magical device on you that's stopping your powers?!

Then they will drive you mad quicker.

People have said there is some... chip... that the scientists put in. It somehow stops magical powers.

I already am! AND PROUD OF IT! [maniacal laughter]

[Anger] Those stupid two bit scietists stole my ideas! Granted I didn't have a 'chip' but the concept... And here they didn't believe a word I said about magic and fairies actually existing! [Pause and head scratch] Mmmm.. However, 'techincally' we are on another world, so these scietists believe in magic? [Looking rather skeptical]

Forcing it to not work is just another way for it to remain hidden - and for them to claim magic doesn't exist.

Here, I cannot even demonstrate, even if I wanted to.

More along the lines so that those fairies couldn't just poof away from me and so that I could wield their magic. Ha,ha,ha,ha,ha,ha!

[Pause and full rage] DON'T EVER TELL ME I WANT MAGIC HIDDEN!

However, I'm not sure what their goal here is with you.

Mmmm... I wonder...

I imagine any fairies that were here would also lose their magical powers.... so they couldn't escape you but they also couldn't be used.

Right now, it seems they are trying to break me.

[A wicked smile appears on his drawn face.]

But they won't.

Those son of a gun's. Still trying to make a mocky of me!

Good for you. I'll be lucky if I make it though this winter.

Though, I'm sure if you got that anti magical chip removed from you, in theory your magic should be restored.

So I have been told.

Are you still ill?

There's that or... There may be some way to reroute your magical ability even if it's been blocked. Though I've haven't worked with an internal magic blocker, they're all be external and the rerouter to use the magic has been internal...

I'm better. Finally. Not that I want to leave the hospital.
