He has some minor but obvious cuts and bruises on his face and neck. He has other similar injuries elsewhere but they aren't visible. He had a chickfight bird!fight with Howie up on deck during the port

[Sveta showed up a few minutes later, knocking on his door anxiously. It was always hit or miss with Gellert, in her experience.]

[The door was unlocked but instead of calling out that fact, Gellert rose and opened it for her.]

Thank you for coming. I honestly thought anyone from the infirmary would not care to see me, had I asked.

[If Sveta had seen Howie, she may notice his injuries are similar.]

I do not think it is too bad. The bruises were worse when I was pushed down the stairs just before the flood.

There was so much going on then. [She reached over, inspecting the various injuries he sustained.] Alright, I'm going to need to clean those cuts. This might sting just a bit.

[He's good at taking pain so he'll barely even wince as he lets her treat him.]
