Not playing so nice any more

I forgot how much fun taunting others could be. Being a tired, helpless old man is getting me nowhere in the sympathy stakes and I have no reason to pretend to be so understanding any longer. So I may as well be myself again ( Read more... )

swing's just on ultra paranoia bitching mode. sorry. also. doesn't like wizards. pleasesmirk June 18 2010, 23:56:30 UTC
Your current condition only proves that wizards are less adaptable than the rest of us, and you rely on powers to get any kind of influence.

I've never needed magic to get people to fear me, if that's what you seem to expect from everyone.

People have feared me. Not here but they did in my world.

I cannot imagine anyone ever fearing you.

They did in my world. A whole city feared me. As for here? Ask Iago.

And they only feared you because you were a powerful wizard. As I said, I don't need that.

A whole world feared me - all of my own kind. So much so none but one were even willing to face me in any proper kind of confrontation.

And, yes, they feared me because I was the most powerful wizard of the time. Again proving my point that being without powers is a negative thing.

I still don't think you could scare an ant.

It's only a negative thing for you, who relied on them. Nobody can take my means of enforcing a little fear away from me.

I can make you scared of me in ten minutes. Let me show you how I enforced order.

It would be my pleasure.

you need to learn your place

I can't stand damn wizards

I won't. It would undermine the order which I am trying to keep from falling apart in this place.

Coward. Following their rules.

There's nothing cowardly about wanting order.

Don't forget that if we faced each other on equal terms, I'd have you dead in minutes.

I just happen to have learnt enough here to not try and inflict that on you.

Dead in minutes? Pray tell, how? I'm curious.

It takes years of education.

Point is, if it was you against me, on equal terms, I'd win without a second thought.

If we were literally on equal terms then nobody would win.

I mean, no magic, no weapons. You, me, our fists. That's an even fight.

That is such a Muggle way to settle things... But if I was younger - and thus on more equal terms - I would take you up on that.
