so ive got like 4 different story ideas that im feeling out atm. the first one is obviously the epic sci fi fantasy story ive been mulling over for years and years and years and have mebbe told a few ppl about. it would almost be too much to explain this weird little world ive created so im not going to.
and thinking about the next three, i find that love and relationships are strong factors in all of them.
the second was one that i was inspired to make after having listened to hybrid, lovage, and playing mirrors edge. its kind of a futuristic take on a noir type film. bout a private investigator whos been hired to find this girl for a major corporation. girl proves to be agile and sly and knows how to get around the city very well so it turns out shes quite tough to catch. the pi lonely and starts having feelings for this woman since shes been the longest constant in his life in a long while. also, it rains ALL the fucking time in this city. i wanted to call it heavy rain, but some fucker beat me to it.
the third one is my take on a zombie apoc story. everyone seems to have done the before/during/right after/way after story of survival in this situation so i thought itd be fun to explore the part right in between the immediately after or long after the zombie infestation. i feel that the most uncomfortable part of this situation would be after the initial aftershock starts to wear off and you first start to realize that this is going to be your life from now on. theres no cure, theres no hope, theres no stronghold somewhere out there. again, the story will focus on a guy and a girl, friends whom havent seen eachother for many years since the apocalypse has happened. i thought this might be a fun idea to toy around with because it will give the characters something to tie them back to being human when they meet again. after long years of survival and killing, i think it would be strange to have that kind of comfort suddenly back in your life.
the last one is one i just came up with recently. it revolves around a womans rise to dictatorship in a dystopic america and a half promise made to her by a friend at the time that he would do anything to see her in power, thinking that it would have to be better than the current conditions they live in. as she rises to power she becomes a little more corrupt and bitter each day that passes she becomes neglectful and abusive towards this man. he endures, however, and yeah. i think he does anyway. i havent thought through the story much more than that.
anyway, yeah, ill prolly be writing little snippets or short stories here and see how this thing goes.
