TODAY IS SEPTEMBER 11
In this generation, this is the day we will remember, all across the world.
It has led to decades of war, the recognition that there is a new enemy, and it has brought great suffering and untold amounts of heartbreak.
Extremists.
Terrorists.
Murderers.
Corrupters and defilers of a religion.
They've planted seeds of discord and turned our attention from greater things that need to be done.
They did not eradicate world hunger. They do not invest in medical research for cures for fatal diseases. They do not roll their arms arm and work in the fields to plant crops. They do not bring happiness to anyone. They do not make lives better for anyone.
So even as we remember what they have done and what they are doing, I pray that we do not turn our eyes away from the greater goals.
We must work to eradicate world hunger.
We must put our hearts into searching for cures for diseases.
We must work in the fields.
We must bring happiness to people we love and more people if we can.
We must make lives better.
