Long day....feels like I woke up so long ago
I've been making things for this party for two days. And I ended up doing dinner, too, tonight which was supposed to be someone's gift along with a cake that never happened either. Things got wonky here and there, and for a good while I felt like I was simply throwing a day long party for my friends, but all in all it was a really good marathon day and I enjoyed the company of all my friends.
I got a big blue butterfly balloon with blue ribbons coming off of it along with a card, and a puzzle, and another card from my grandmother which I didn't expect so soon or so generous. Kevin Smith was funny and watching them all together made me realize how much he ties all his movies in together. And having people to giggle and tell jokes with was nice.
Tomorrow night will be dinner with my mother and gordon.
I'm twenty one as of today. Though to me I'm going to be twenty till three thirty five this morning anyway.
And though it was sad, silly and so very sorely needed,
