50 Days of Dragon Con Countdown - Day 5

Day 5 (46 Days) - Lee: Master of Disguise [Costume Track Director]
(Podcast Location: The Unique Geek)This one was interesting but not very deeply important for me. I got really turned off by the 1-2 costuming panels I went to last year, but I still very much do listen to everything.
I do think a lot about the Georgia Aquarium when multiple of the podcasts in this countdown will talk about it. I always am interested in it, but by the time I figure out it's going to take 2-3 hours of my Friday or Saturday night (I can't remember which one, I'm leaning to Saturday night) it always becomes impossible. I'll already have something like 5-15 options in every hour of my whole weekend and the idea of giving up 15-45 options of any three hour period is crazy.
(I cannot address how Anthy's costume is going to effect me yet. Because I am going to love wearing it. It is going to be deeply recognizable and extraordinalrily well and tailor made. And it's paired with another person, so that, yes, there is an Utena with me, also, in a deeply amazing, tailored costume. But? I am not giving up my panels for my costume either.
The idea of giving up hours of panels is painful in my head. I am a panel girl. This is what I come for. The panels. The people. I wake up with the first ones and go to one nearly every hour and carrying food and water on me because I won't be back, and my rooming group knows this.
This is the reasons my Deep Want to Volunteer for This Thing I Love slams the wall of making me knock down half a dozen to a dozen hours worth of options, and I just can't do that. So I continue to donate and clutch the things I love so dearly at it.)
