Interestingly enough I do not think form or format will ever keep Sara and I from finding each other. We met originally over fanfic, somewhere far away, found each other on Livejournal years ago. Then, again, on Twitter. Then, again, on Tumblr. I think sometimes there are people you might never lose, who are sewn into the seams of your heart and your head, the way you laugh and how you view things, the fandoms, and different places, never changing anything.
Somewhere on Tumblr we even found more things, as I fell even further into the joys of Green Smoothies and cooking, with water bottles and blenders. Color me utterly surprised, tough, when a lovely box arrived recently. A treasure trove of stars strung together like our own constellation across all these places and times and things we've shared, that caused me only laughter, gratitude and love.
A lovely soft scarf, with two different colors on each side (which I, sadly, did not get a picture of it showing both, woe!). A silken cloth of beautiful bright white, golden, and green that is so bright it is like spring came in my brown box (that I honestly want to turn into an altar cloth already).Warm, wintery fingerless gloves. And a silver yellow-red Asian purse.
What would be without tea? Gorgeous spring flowers in pink and blue-purple for a cup, tray and coaster. A thick book on Artisan Bread, which I do say has roused my curiosity with it's five-minute mark claims. I rather like the idea of baking, and I've gotten into the habit of baking sweets for others for their important days this spring, so the idea of adding in artisan bread as gifts now, too, is seductive.
We must start first, with the part that made me laugh and smile most, the piece at the very back. Tiny adorable X-Men from Excalibur, because what of ours would ever be right without a taste of that first love. A clip light. A orb yellow candle. A beautiful incense canoe that magically has a tiny elephant, right when I was needing something things for Root Chakra.
Last, but never least, two Glamourkins: sing down the stars and lightly she walks the universe.
Thank you, my dear. You have filled my heart with light and love.
