That magical moments when you've started using an app to record calorie intake and exercise levels, because there's an app for that, because you've gained 15 lbs while not changing a thing about your food intake or several miles of brisk walking daily/a week, and it tells you for the second day running "You are eating too few calories [....] and possibly putting your body into starvation mode" and your only reaction is:
. . . . I'm not sure after the last 15 years that my body is aware anything but starvation mode exists. This is so very, very much a part of why all sugar, soda, coffee, candy, high syrups were given up five hundred years ago from my diet. Why all my personal snack food has to be healthy, nutritious food. How does one convince one’s self to eat the amount of food needed to even get to these numbers on more than a few days before giving up?
Sigh. I am trying at least. We'll see how long this lasts before guilt or forgetfulness gets the better of me.
