You know, Uncle Rob, I really don't think I have been having this problem as much this year. But my standards are a little epic by any measure, but I don't cut them down because of this. If anything my standard bar jumped from where it had already been too high for ten years, and became even higher during the last two. I still won't cut them down for this.
I am notoriously good at both not having solid, hard expectations and selling myself short in word, if never quite in deed. Especially lately, when I've been zooming off cliffs with arms outstretched in the arms of the world. So, we'll see. I promise to at least keep this all in mind.
