twiddling my thumbs, the further I get
I have cleaned up, and cleaned out so very much. There's a whole bag of trash. The whole back seat of my car is donation stuff from last week's beginning of this. Now there's also a full box of books to sell. A box and half for donating to goodwill (including one full of candles, tapers and votives), and the beginnings of a box of girlie things (body sprays and jewelry), that I still have no idea where will go.
So far nothing specific has come from the magic corner, at least nothing non-generic. But it has gotten a ground floor redecorate a whole bunch. I got incredibly lucky with emptying out two different large plastic containers, that I figure out to get rid of all the old cards and candles, then shifted where the art supplies went. And suddenly I had containers for all the seasonal stuff (for the first time in over five years). Which means that’s handled.
Tomorrow will probably be the walls, inside the altars, the supplies. Chakra stuff will need to come down and open space left open for the coming year, though Tarot and Runes will both have classes through a good portion of next year. Still haven't hit up the childhood book case or my dresser yet (for clothes, jewelry or sprays).
But I have a whole day tomorrow without work, which is such an odd thing. I want to go back to full weeks, not have more days off. Even if it is paid. And then I will move on to the dining room where my library is. And that will be really hard. And then kitchen, too, with all the kitchen stuff. Definitely interesting little urge this was/is.
