My skin got lightly scaly and pink rashy, in patches here and there, the first time I showered after the painting at Dragon*Con. Two weeks later, after I shower there are still sections of my skin doing this. The one over my shoulder especially

Eczema? Or another allergic-type reaction? I'd suggest moisturizer (if you don't already use it; Vaseline Intensive Care was recommended to me and I am very pleased with their super-hydrating sensitive skin kind) and maybe an over-the-counter steroid cream, as long as it's not your face skin. Steroid twice a day for two weeks, no longer. Then take at least two weeks off from it. :) If you have no other contraindications.
