Retail Therapy, Followed by Mail Call

I woke up in a daze this morning, sort of hung-over from my weekend affairs. Which had nothing to do with a drink hang-over. I felt restless and spacey all at once. Which led to me cleaning the kitchen and dining room and getting rid of any clutter and trash I could find, while I let Cat sleep.

After she went off to her parents and grandparents, I wandered off to Bath & Body Works to trade in the things I'd won at the raffle last night instead for Into the Wild body scrub. It's my new favorite of the moment. A patchouli-mandarin or something like it. It was even under my trade in value and my left over is on a card for someday later.

So I wandered the Ross, before driving off to finally see a Borders.

It still ruffles so many feathers that this store won't be here. The second largest of its type. I wandered through dragging my fingers along bookshelves, studying a million spines. I picked out two books, a page-a-day calendar for books, and a new tarot deck (The Heart Tarot).

I may stop by and gather early Christmas presents from it, too, starting next week.
I may stop by from week to week and see how the mark downs go until it closes.

I stopped by Yankee Candle since it was next door, but didn't get much. I'd missed an exclusive preview for special costumers Saturday morning, while I was at my Reunion Tour, and just wanted to stop in and see what all the newer things were. There certain are a lot of them -- all fall and Halloween aimed now -- since the sale stuff went away. And while I'm dying to have autumn scents?

It's 104 outside. It hardly feels in my skin like autumn. Which fails.

I came home and fell into a two and half hour nap, and rousing myself just in time to make dinner with my parents. Which turned out rather awesome, and was when I got to put all my high school memorabilia back into the boxes for saving all of it, too. And on my way home, i got the mail for the first time in a day. Or two. I couldn't really remember.

Mail went well. I heard back from one of my two loan companies I needed to. And then there were two surprises waiting in my mail box. Which I gathered to me before sinking back into my bed and quiet empty house. Thus, needing a mail call tonight (and a brand new icon for mail and mail related things); I. I got this hilarious set of Twilight stickers and locker emblems from Georgia last week. Who really is the person who showers me in Twilight stuff. I think is my punishment for Meg & Edward. I could attempt to look penitent but it wouldn't work. One of the best ones in recent months was from June.

Georgia and Joan sent me a joint Birthday card to Edward in Late June, from Themselves, plus, Meg and Castiel. Which was all around hilarious. Especially Castiel's p.s. about not really eating people. I adored that one and this one. They make me laugh so much.

II. Very unexpectedly, Emily sent me this awesome bracelet! It's really pretty. Three lines of stones, all separate, but coming together at the clasp ends of garnet, tourmaline, and quartz. It's so shiny. And I love it great bunches!
