Fire Altar, Take One

Fire Altar, The Right Side

A triple sun on the wall, which is actually a foot jewelry piece, for the largest body of fire near us. The tall red candle is my dedication candle. The snake necklace and earrings set was bought with Earl a few weeks back, when I said I need something Fire-Related I could wear. The Stars, Moon, Candle holder is one of the two only things to transition from one altar to the other (and from the altar before Air, as well).

There is the bright red dragon candle, as well as the Heroclix Phoenix (oh, yes, see my Jean Grey/Phoenix love. And it's comic con exclusive hugeness, that never even came out of the box until today). Both are creatures under Fire, both of eternal destruction and rebirth. There is an insanely large, beautiful polished piece of carnelian on top of my first childhood black mirror slab. And two candles flush against the front (one a tea light and the other Yankee Candle Pomegranate Cider).

Fire Altar, The Middle

Direct center. The huge cauldron Earl bought my at the Renn Faire, when we walked up and realized $39 (and bought two on the spot, one with a Triple Moon, and one with a pentacle). The four oils and incenses along the bottom, once again, come from my personal stock and the Five Elements through Five Senses class taught by dakotawitch. A small dragon in front, a gift. As well the Elemental Star on the bottom came from a full_moon_swaps.

The Air coin is from my Sacred Well set. And the two blades are from entirely different times in my life, and important to keep from those times for wholly different, very sacred reasons to me.

Fire Altar, The Left Side

In the far back corner, you will find my Aphrodite/Vulva shell and tiny green Penis from two different trips in Korea. Love you will find with the rolling emotions of Water, but Fire is all about Passion and Sex for themselves. So it gets a corner and I try not to blush. After all, this is why I bought them. To have pieces when I needed them. Behind it, the familiar incense burner from Air. And right in front of that my Wonder Jar from the recent RCG Weekend to Hathor, a Fire Goddess.

The phoenix box from a completely different full_moon_swaps and I'm very back and forth on whether I need it now that I have my Phoenix statue on the otherside. Then the twin matching candles from the other side.

I have several ideas of things I want to incorporate somehow, but don't know yet. Like the Crone, and Hearth Goddesses/Hearth Magic. So stark and sharp and different in places. I light the candles every night for ten minutes to two hours, and I let us sort of exist together and slow turn toward the future together.

But I guess we'll see where this all goes.
