A light to guide you in the darkness

At Summer Solstice RCG writes letters to be delivered at Yule. For the first time in endless years of being a member, I made a Summer Solstice Ritual instead of being busy or having classes or being in another country which kept me from their evenings and I wrote a letter.

I pondered it several times these last six months, remembering very little of it save that it was written in orange, of Temple of Twelve's Orange Month, and two words in the very center. Two days ago it arrived in my mail box. I definitely teared up the first time I read it, and I've been meaning to put it up here for posterity and printing to my book.

Dearest Soul That You Are Now,

Remember me. Almost crying, touched by healers, safe in the arms of my sisters to grow. Remember me. Brave enough to come home. Brave enough to proclaim my feelings. Bound by no fear, no depth of pain earned in living. Be BOLD. Be VIBRANT. Here on the longest day of sun I hold out a golden light to shower you in, as you wrap me in your deepest midnight coat. You are blessed. You are loved. You can make the hard decisions. You can always follow your heart.

Love, Me;
Amare (07/17)
