Thanksgiving Morning
I slept in today, and didn't work as I did last year in Korea. Took a shower and passed Earl on his way to bed from his night ICU shift, talking about the night behind him and the different family gathering's we'll hit up today after he's up again. There were family phone calls and Hope. Even if I've developed a sniffly, cough.
I lit all the candles in the main room, and curled up on the couch to watch the Macy's Day Parade while wrapped up in my new white and red snowflake Yankee Candle fleece blanket. For late breakfast I'm having Earl's Dad's amazing pumpkin pie, gifted randomly last night, along with Godiva Hot Dark Chocolate, while thinking about just how lucky and thankful I am this year.
