I've waited
nearly a month to get to tell you about this box I got from
crazyfurries! This is probably the most fun I've had with a present since my Mother & Stepfather sent me Christmas as a present for each of the Twelve Days of Yule/Koreamas. But November 1st happened finally and I got to get to all of it, so here it is.

Oct 17th was the day of the 'make a poppet, fill it with herbs, dried flower petals, and whatnot' then put that personal poppet into a place decorated up to be your 'happy place'.
The mice do have catnip! And raw wool. They're made from some reclaimed (and VERY clean) old t-shirts my brother ended up ripping by accident (and a few other scraps) The catnip is stuff from my own backyard, where it's been growing wild and driving the local cats crazy when they flop down into it.
I think you'll be happy to know that the honey came from a local bee-farmer, and he swears that if anyone plants clover within a mile of his hives he'd move. This wonderful old man and his wife were selling the jars at the local farmer's market and I love using their stuff myself for tea. My earl grey tea does NOT taste right without their honey these days.
Now this entire package plan came about because cupenny and I were talking about The Temple of Twelve, and ofcourse, the colors coming up next. I was already sewing the altar cloth for White, and we decided to plot a bit. Shakti, the alternative religion store in Madison, didn't have much for white but the candles seemed appropriate.
It took me forever, and I didn't finish the altar cloth before October hit, so I went about finding some 'little treasures' to help pack it in. i picked out the silver and gold party crackers, and hit the tiny treasure dispensers. I love gumball machine prizes, and I admit, some of them were also placed in there to provide a 'happy place' for your poppet later on as well as provide you with some bling for Gold. The reiki book, cards and box were something Mom'd found and picked out for herself because the art looked interesting. She said if I knew someone who'd put it to better use, she'd be fine with me sending it to them. When I read about you getting your Reiki Mastery, I realized I had to send it along as well.
The halloween card was a last minute, spur-of-the-moment idea that I drew, inked, and signed for your well wishes before I sealed up the box.
After I mailed it, I realized I'd forgotten to photograph the pretty, since cupenny had asked to see the altarcloth before I shipped it out. -derp-
