Day 06 - Your day, in great detail All I could think the morning of catching what my write-up prompt was being amused that I landed on actual Samhain/Halloween for it. I had a rather toned down day, since the two before it had been so busy. As you've seen with all the Samhain related write-ups. This morning was spent in bed for a great part. Catching up on cleaning out my unread e-mails and un-answered lj-comments.
I spent a little bit of that time gaming Peeta, and writing his Milliways application since applications for November would open the next day, before my brain was brainwashed into cleaning. My room needed some sprucing, and I did about half of what needs to be done completely. Got the floor mostly cleaned off aside from old bill papers that need filing, books for birthday and trade-ins, and Renn Faire swag that still needs picturing.
I spent a good deal of Saturday walking back and forth in the house. Waiting for photo's of Samhain events to load, picking out entry toppers and then writing those posts. So I could get them out, without forgetting my closest, purest thoughts connected to them. I worked a little more on the BOS idea from the RCG post. I ate leftovers throughout the day from the dinner had while
evegryffindor was visiting earlier in the week.
I found out my, much anticipated and planned for, Harry Potter World trip in December with Laverne and TJ fell through this day. I wasn't surprised, but it didn't make me any less sad once it had finally come down the wire. With it gone, though, I could accept my invitation to join the 13 Moons class. I cleaned out my purse. Somewhere the late afternoon drowned me an I took a two hours nap.
I woke up, decided against a fourth group Samhain event, and with time to run away to Target and grab two big bags of candy, settled in for Trick or Treater's for the first time in over half a decade. With made it a little disheartening when not even one child came to my door that night. I watched some tv I've had stored up, wrote a little more in SparkleDoom, and cleaned out all the crap in my purse.
Before sleep-times I, also, burned my coffin of the last year from Goddess Grove, breaking in my new cauldron on Samhain night. I read a good deal more in The Lost Hero, went over my notes for my first two days and work, and tried to go to bed early. But I'm pretty sure you know how well that works out for me.
