Late night

End of the weekend. It's been a quieter, not so bumpy ride.

I wanted to thank everyone for all the For-Smiling stuff. It's hard for me to ask for help, especially in any sort of direct fashion, and you guys are so amazing and you all helped. Thank you so much. I immersed myself in shows a bit, too. I forgot that so much of Fall Television started again this week. I'm a little sad to see my summer shows go, even while being all twitter about welcoming back fall friends.

During the weekend I, also, finished up my work with Brown (and got to open my token that's been waiting on me for almost five weeks. Gorgeous and so worth the wait) and my work with Five Elements through Five Senses: Fire. I move on to White on first the first of October, this coming Friday. And I'll post up the Fire write-ups once I've culminated it with the recipe makings and picture takings.

I don't really want to talk about the bad parts of yesterday so I'm going to tell you about someone awesome, and that someone is my roomie Earl. Who made me drive my car to Toyota nearly a week ago and schedule an appointment for yesterday, which meant by the end of yesterday my car AUX finally works right and my iPod music is everywhere available and perfect now. He's also the reason I actually drug myself out of bed, even under current conditions, and went to Pagan Pride Day.

Which was smaller than I was used to or expecting, but still nice. I knew so many people. It's amazing to remember how many people all across the community I really do know. I even got hug-picked up off the ground by someone I hadn't seen since previous to Korea by a year or two. I knew a good third of the sellers, and readers. I went to one class (and had a follow up reading) on my Aztec Galactic Signature, which was interesting.

With a little help, I picked up the two things I seriously fell in love with on sight: a pendulum with quartz at both ends (which is sadly so reflective with light you can't see how amazing the cut at the bottom is) and a made of feathers and antler, for sweeping clear (which has a designated place on my Air Altar for 2010 already).

(Behind them: are gifts from Earl. A tiny Travel Altar incense set & 1/2 oz Copal Negro
Before: My Temple of Twelve Brown [Korean Buddhist] prayer beads
To the right: The rose quartz I've talked of carrying so much)

And now that all my tv and classes and mini-writings are done for today I think it's time to turn it for the night. I wish you all the very best of dreams that you could find tonight, filled with granted wishes and deep home-steeped comfort and love; the very best of everything that could touch your fingers and hold your heart in light.
