Things WRT today that aren't processed out
I. My phone pictures aren't showing up in my e-mail box, so you have to wait until tomorrow morning for the Lammas write-up. But who knows, it gave me time to make my things tonight that I thought I might put off another night, as well.
II. I found out today that a friend of mine, that I'd known since my early teens but hadn't seen since before Korea, died. A good man, who always made my heart feel warm and safe whenever I saw him. And I'm not....quite processing that at all yet. It seeps back into my mind every time I've slowed down today, and then my heart aches.
III. Amazing quote from among azhure's icons that's been on repeat in my head since this morning:
Perhaps, someday, I'll crawl home
beaten, defeat.
But not as long as I can make
stories out of my heartbreak,
beauty out of sorrow.
