I've pretty much dropped from the radar of FMS since hitting Korea -- for a multitude of reasons -- but not from following its new growth. I was very uncertain about signing up for Giver's and Getter's but sitting with my box today in my office when it arrived I almost burst into tears of relief. I wrote my post to my giver explaining that I'd brought very little with me of my or any supplies. A couple of books and my painted hat box because of the situation I moved with.
I hadn't even owned a candle until
thewinteroak sent me one a few weeks back.
So this arrived this morning and it was like a balm of sunshine was poured straight into my soul just opening the box. The aroma of candle wax and cinnamon incense, as I lifted everything out and let it warm me up inside instead of doing morning prep for ten minutes.
As you can see in the picture, my box was brimming with surprises: three books (A Witch Alone: Thirteen Moons to Master Natural Magic by Marian Green, Awakening Your Goddess: A Practical Guide to Discovering A Woman's Power, A Woman's Glory by Liz Simpson, and The Cauldron of Change: Myths, Mysteries, and Magick of the Goddess by De-Anna Alba), four thick taper candles, a set of dark runes, The Gifts of the Goddess: 36 Affirmation Cards by Amy Zerner and Monte Farber, a small Buddha emblem, and a beautiful charcoal drawing done by
dianaoftheriver.
I'm not sure there are enough words to tell you just how much I'm humbled and grateful for this swap. Thank you. Thank you so very much.
