1. I have not run out of times when I want to clutch my computer to myself in pure and exquisite glee. It's so fast and smooth and pretty, and the last twenty hours has shown me just how well the graphics card works on games. It is the first gift in many, many years that has made me act like a five year old child continuously. I love this computer. Love. Love. Love. I would give it my babies.

Go download Digsby. Now.
You love Trillian? Disgby is better.
It runs instant messages (aim, msn, yahoo, google talk, icq, jabber, and facebook), e-mail notification (gmail, msn, yahoo, aol, imap, and pop) and social networking (facebook, myspace, twitter, and linkin) all in a convenient application that looks nearly exactly like the Trillian set up. But it doesn't end there.
Say you have a friend who has aim, msn, facebook, etc, which all usually take up multiple lines in your lists? Disgby will let you merge them into one convenient spot. There's multiple file transfers at the same time. You can both read and update all the social networking programs right from the Disgby bubble. You can open new e-mails in a new window. The pop up bubbles lack in being invasive. The application has a dock and auto-hide function.
I've only been testing it for the last hour, but it's fair to say I'm going to discontinue the use of my facebook toolbar, twirl, firefoxtwitter, trillian, just to name the first few. Because I really, really, really like having a program that will collect all of these things into one convenient, efficient application and is absolutely free.
The only way this program could be more perfect for me would be if it ran Skype and Livejournal.
