Oh, it's late, and it hardly feels it because of my midday nap.
1. I've written two more pages on my paper, the introduction to which came with astonishing ease within two minutes or sitting and deciding I must start today.
2. I've now read up to twenty-four cards of the forty in
The Hidden Path, and I'm now in the habit of laying them out on a stool, as each time I walk by them it cements the images and what I read. I can not get over how beautiful the cards are, how details and fitting.
I found out the maker has an online set of classes across a year, too. And their God/Goddess statues set used in eight of the cards are for sale, too. Which I am eyeing even though they are for much more money than I see them being worth.
3. I read all of the Nightcrawler series a while ago, once I found out it was linked, but in light of the new Illyana Rasputin news I felt the need to reread them, and I finished the last one in the wee hours of this morning. This doesn't get a spoiler warning or cut, it's four years old.
There is such a heavy use of Limbo/Amanda (not to mention Angels/Demons, Children, and Lovers) I remember it irking me because there is no centralism or balance to it. Knowing how the guardianship works in Limbo the whole Nightmare-Amanda scene still creates a red haze (and I am endeavoring so hard not to write/yell about). The Soul Sword and The Coming Storm, three years later, who knows. I fan-girl the continuity in any kind of literature, but I hope this doesn't go in bad ways, too.
I think I have one other post to put up and then I'm going to attempt to put myself to bed, to reset my awake and asleep times.
