Today's been good to me
I spent the morning with my mother for a nice duration and she treated me to a sushi lunch, chirashi with tako and ruby tapioca dessert, as a congratulations for the news about my job this week. She also passed on to me a bag of peaches, since she and Gordon are going to the farmers markets.
Afterwards I ran errands, including a stop to Sun Harvest where I finally bought loose granola to test on my fruit and yogurt breakfasts. Its about time I put some other fibrous things into my diet, variety and what not, since my disenchantment with most things white starch, bread and potato related seems to be very firmly staying where it is. Today's two taster flavors are Maple Almond Crunch and Super Nutty, and I think I'm going to try the second during my snack this afternoon.
This afternoon will be some more gaming notes, though my massive notes task is for the most part done. There is another gift to hand out to the group, cause my enthusiasm is waxing if anything. I think I'll go swimming this evening and spend the evening relaxing and working on a secondary surprise for a completely different set of people. And maybe lay down with Moon while watching Two Towers, since my replacement set arrived and the disks look like they should be fine.
And a new icon. Because Marian gets what Marian wants and she is an exceptionally loud voice when she's decided what her want is.
