The beautiful light through the trees...

- Today is my eighth month anniversary, though it was actually celebrated yesterday. We made a bountiful picnic bag and drove out to Lost Pines. We walked to the middle of no where, checking on his nursery's, and settled out of deep blue blankets under this beautiful assortment of trees. I can still close my eyes, to the memory of curled up in his arms on the blanket, seeing the vibrant green, shaking in the breeze, and highlighted by The radiant sun. It was blissful and I'm still especially giddy over breaking the 'purple rule' in every aspect possible.

- Having collected Yaupon leaves while wandering around, once we returned home we made Yaupon Tea in the kitchen. It's a sharp, earthy aroma that fills the entire house as it cooks for hours. We made one batch of leaves, which made tea out of two-thirds of the crushed, cooked leaves. I got to save an entire half of our picked supply, which is still in a bag in the fridge, and a bag of one-third of the cooked leaves, for tea in the coming short future.

- The late evening I got to see the return of his mother from her trip, with Becky in tow, and his father sat me down and showed me two more photo albums. I'm still only up to age fourteen on the books of Billy, but last nights were albums of his father growing up in Louisiana. He's told some amazing stories which continually reminds me how much his father really doesn't fit my mold of what I expect of a parent always. The drinking, partying and the millions of trips. Moments I long to know his father so very much more.

- The afternoon was sunshine rebellion, the evening of shadowed explosions, the night in whispered future dreams; all of it a truly amazing and unforgettable anniversary.

- Today was more a list of things all happening at once. I did all my laundry for months; which ended up being around a box and half’s worth, but only fills three of the four big drawers in my mothers/my dresser. My mother called yesterday and set up a lunch for today, amusing since when I asked five days ago she shrugged it off as unneeded. It was a wonderful Greek meal at Demo's, between seeing all the set-ups at Home Depot for their huge kitchen re-make and taking her to see my new place.

- Helped with Christine's first unloading, but only a little because I wasn't called until they'd almost arrived. Came home, inspired by her moving, to work more on my house. Laundry, stuffed animals, shoes, and night-watch boxes all emptied and put away. The walls in the bedroom are beginning to fill out. Tally now of unpacked boxes is four in the living room and four in the bedroom. Tomorrow I will send out the messages about the house warming, as well.
