Short update since the repairman came and fixed the modem problem.....
I am offically moved in, even though it was a bumpier ride than any of my other moves. I've ended up spending about three times what I budgeted for on certain things, which stings with the whole paypal thing still unresolved. My apartment ended up right next to the entrance gate, pool, and laundromat.
I've unpacked my kitchen and my bathroom, most of my dining room, figured out my storage space, and last night with Billy's help arranged the furniture for my livingroom. It's all coming together rather nicely. I hope within the weekend to finish putting stuff in storage and unpack at least the livingroom, if not both it and half of the bedroom. Unpacking is so much faster than packing. Once the box mountains become smaller I'll take some pictures of areas and put them up.
I'm doing mostly good as well. I'm adjusting into the new sounds, my staircase, and neighbors. I got up to Austin recently for my physical. I'm still waiting on Paypal investiagtion to finally settle out. I have lunch with my mother today and a friend from my childhood and some grocery shopping with Ashes this evening. I'm still debating whether to go to the Reiki Two class now, because of the whole money up in the air situation.
Today is day three. I'm amused and amazed that the days just keep rolling by. This is a new world.
I promise a bigger, huger, longer update about everything is forthcoming
