A mixed bag
First, a rant. What is happening to my poor city -state?? No more a Sunny Island Set in the Sea. If you've not heard yet, Singapore is enveloped in haze, thanks for the burning forests in Indonesia. Google Singapore haze for pics- as of now, the reading is OFF THE CHARTS- it's at hazardous levels. Does this mean we get a holiday tomorrow??
Otherwise, it was an awesome day, I ate at a cool restaurant with ex-chefs from Fat Duck, all at my doorstep! The last dish took so long that they gave us 3 complimentary dishes while waiting. Hehe. NICE!
I have a fresh appreciation of how hard writing fic is, compared to technical report writing. Struggled through a Drabble nervously, but perhaps there's hope for me yet :) Tis true writing is sweat and toil.
Pity the poor Sheffield tutors in town running our M.Ed Programme this week. They were hoping for some sun after the Chilly English winter so far. Instead,, they get.. HAZE.
Still, I'm counting my blessings, in these murky times.
