(no subject)
The weekend has passed, and I’m not ready for another week. Fun things that happened this weekend:
Woke up by a phone call 05.30 Saturday. One of the women I work with was evidently depressed and quite drunk. Yay for being the nice guy and bloody everyones confidant. Oh well, I survived through that, even if today might have a few "Clear up" conversations in it.
Friday I was at an interview. No, I'm not changing the job I've proven so clearly that I love, but I might be doing some security guard/bouncer work. I realize now that I dont know the english non-slang word for a bouncer, but basically I'll be working the door/floor of a pretty big student pub/bar. It should prove a lot of fun. It dosnt pay great, but anything helps, and chances are it will be more fun than my other job.
Sunday I had a few friends over and we watched MallRats. `Sure, its old, and sett in jersey, but its still a funny as heck movie. Next time I'm thinking Clerks, followed by Clerks two. I might as well spread my love for Kevin Smiths movies.
The crazy girl I had to break up with, who's been obidiently quiet for almost 2 months dropped me a line again today. I've yet to answer, and I dont think I will. She'll either take the hint and not write me back, or yell at me for being A) A coward, B) A tease, C) a general Smeg Head. But atleast then I can say "bugger off" and that will be that.
Worst case she shows up at my door tonight wearing a bathrobe and whipped cream. That might be hard to turn down, and more than slightly awkward for my flatmates. Meh, he who lives will see. (Unless he's blind).
Exitement, Adventure? A jedi craves not such things.
