I was going to make a proper post, but it's 3am and I'm still not asleep and such_heights's Merlin vidlet Backseat just made me fall apart and cry. It's stunning. Go watch it.

3.02 has a lot of shirtless in it, as I'm sure you've seen by now. :D I don't know; I miss it, too, but I can't really put my finger on it. In a way I'm glad they're finally dealing with some things, mainly Morgana, but I do miss the Huge Crisis and then the laughs afterward sort of format. /sits back to see how it'll turn out

Yeah. *pets show on head* I'm glad that they're trying to get into the material and conflict a little more too, I just don't know if they're doing it the way I want them to? Have you seen up to 3.04 yet? Has it gotten any happier? :(

I just don't know what I would do; I think Kyra does, though. She should run it. x.x Oh, I meant 3.04 has a lot of shirtless! My bad. HAHAH it's kind of ... well, it's pretty lulzy. Less evil Morgana, and there seems to be some Arthur/Gwen in 3.05. Let's see ... there's definitely that silly sort of quality missing a lot now, but parts of 3.04 are really silly. Sort of. It's interesting. I'm talking myself into a WALL, goodness. We should talk about it after you watch, lol.

YES. She really should. We need to get the Merlin writers fired somehow. :D Eep, evil-Morgana is -- well, competent-evil-Morgana is pretty hot, but smirking-in-dark-corners-evil-Morgana is just overdone, alas.

I will try to catch up this weekend! I keep getting behind on my TV, which considering how much I'm watching is understandable. And then I will talk to you about things! (Also are you still watching Community this year?)

Perhaps we will keep them for consultation purposes, but mostly yes, I agree with this plan! What do they keep doing with Morgana! Katie McGrath's face I will always love, but smirk after smirk after smirk gets tiring. Competently evil Morgana I really love. I'm glad she hasn't utterly failed in some humiliating way because. Instant death to the Merlin writers.

I just picked up Undercovers on recommendation from Nelle and another friend, and I'm watching Community, Merlin, How I Met Your Mother, and House and The Office since I download for my roommate. Oh man. and yes, talking! COMMUNITY IS SO GOOD. LIKE. WHAT. Absolutely stunning, that show. Hits me with its epic from nowhere every time. idek, but I have no expectations for television these days, and it is just so quietly amazing.

It is impossible not to love Katie McGrath's face. True fact.

Ooh, Undercovers! I've only seen the pilot so far -- I'm watching it with my sister, and between the two of us & our classwork we can never find time -- but I'm in love. It's gracefully sweet. :) And COMMUNITY, OH COMMUNITY! Last week's episode was -- okay, basically, I have seen Troy and Abed and Annie try to be spies and now my life is complete.

People who don't are jealous. Well that was easy. :)

I'm loving it so far! Gracefully sweet - it's nice to see a married couple on television, and that the premise isn't based around tearing them apart. I'm a shipper at heart but I can only take the fascination of tearing apart ships for so long. This past week's was less epic than usual? The one with oil wrestling ... just not that great. HAHAHAH my roommates and I have seen that part so many times and we crack up every single time.

Yeah! This is an entirely different kind of ship for me -- usually I go with the doomed, barely-there-in-canon ones, or something. Seeing a lovely, married couple is really, really awesome. :)

I am ... not sure about this week's Community. *squints* I'm kind of still grappling with what they were trying to say about feminism there?

I love unshipping canon. :D I mean probably at some point they're going to make it hard or something? With Leo in there and everything. But I would just really appreciate it if they didn't start on the commitment of marriage. D:

Yeahhhh I just don't know. Looking at the episode with Britta's arc in my mind, it makes sense for her character, which annoys me to no end. It really only makes sense from that viewpoint - feminism is sort of out of the picture. At least they're not making her the Feminist Representative on the show because that'd be two-dimensional, but I'm also annoyed it has no part in the feminist rhetoric of the show. ergh.

Yeah -- if they go in that direction, I will seriously drop it. :( I have a hard time dealing with character storylines involving cheating -- some of the original Doctor/Amy, before it really become more Doctor/Amy/Rory, really upset me. BUT hopefully they won't go in that direction with Undercovers! Meanwhile Leo just remains hilarious!

I guess so, yes? Sometimes I wish the show would let Britta be more awesome! D: I love her a lot, and actually kind of identify with her, so.

I'm not having a hard time committing to that, too. :\ Oh Rita, I don't know what to do with my Eleven/Amy mix! It's a Doctor and companion traveling through time sort of mix, not a romantic sort of mix, and Rory is in there ... somewhere ... but I'm not exactly sure how to frame it. I have the fourth episode but I haven't watched it yet! I have miles of homework ahead of me. ahah, Leo. :D I really hope they start introducing some more main cast members, though I think Lizzy is all sorts of awesome.

It's nice that they don't worship the ground she walks on, because there's enough cast members that you have to balance out their screentime. I identify with her toooo. ♥

Ooh before I forget -- how is the fic coming? I sort of wanted to post it before this weekend -- because somewhere in the past week I ended up finishing another fic, what the hell. So if you haven't had time to read it yet, I can absolve you of all responsibility and just go ahead and do that, if that is okay with you. :) ♥

Haha, I am so behind on Undercovers, I think I've only watched the first two episodes? If you ever want to babble to me more about your mix and bounce ideas off -- or just babble really, sometimes babbling helps you sort things out even when the other person doesn't say anything :D -- feel free! Yay mixes!

One thing that I love about Community is that there are seven of them (uh, eight plus crazy Senor Chang? I don't know) and they all get screen time and character development and it works. Apparently there was a secret plotline happening with Abed in the third episode, in the background? I didn't notice anything, I will have to go and re-watch ...

I hope you got my email! You have my blessing and you can expect a long comment from me, I already have so much to say. :D ♥ oh this is terrible I'm still doing my math homework, ewEh we're only on the fourth one, and they go by really fast. haha I actually have a ton of babbling~ Yay mixes indeed! Well so far I've got a four seasons theme going on, with a fair bit of instrumentals (strings! Amy's Theme fits in so perfect I can't even) but I'm having a really hard time with spring. Got lazy and searched for spring in my iTunes, and two songs do fit the sound: "The First Days of Spring" by Noah and the Whale and "March (A Prelude to Spring)" by Jon Foreman (March! Perfect! Well, April would be better I suppose...) but the lyrics are terrible and people ending up alone and wanting the other to come back which isn't right. bah, when you're purposefully trying to make a pretty mix ... I tend to associate spring with pop, maybe, so that's why it's hard to find something? I just need something tinkly and light. Like the Amélie soundtrack. ( ... )

Yay yay! I am looking forward to it. ♥

Hmm, I searched my iTunes for "spring," and I didn't turn up much. :( I have two Tori Amos songs that have to do with spring ("In the Springtime of His Voodoo," "Spring Haze"), but her lyrics are always strange and they're a little angsty, not poppy. There's a Matt Pond PA song that might work, though? It's a bit rockier than you might be looking for, and I don't even know what it's about, but the good thing is that MPPA's lyrics are always quite vague and you can twist them around how you'd like. Lyrics here, let me know if you want me to upload it?

ALSO ALSO speaking of Yann Tiersen, do you have Dust Lane yet? If not, I'll upload it -- it's his latest album, entirely in English, reminds me a lot of the best Arcade Fire songs. It doesn't have anything about spring on it, but it's epic and uplifting. You might be able to find something that works. And if not it's just awesome. :D ( ... )
