I don't care what my parents say, school dances are not about hanging out with friends. It really isn't. If it was, we wouldn't be allowed to bring people from outside our school. Honestly. Dances are just for the single people to hang out with other single people and watch the couples act like idiots and have fun--all while listening to bad music. The two dances I've been to sucked. Granted, I spent only a quarter of the time at one of them, and was in a wheelchair, but still. Not so much fun for me.
I swear if I hear another "2 more days until I see my boyfriend!! *squee*", I'll punch someone...or something...or...knock myself out. I wonder if we have any of those sedatives left from when my dog needed them...? Oh! I could take a bunch of pain pills leftover from surgery...hm...
Anyway!
I am looking forward to Friday. It's Teacher Appreciation at Borders (kind of like Chapters for Canadian peoples :3) and so all teachers get everything 25% off. Which means...*drumroll* lots of books for me! Plus I tend to do lots of Christmas shopping then >.> Especially since they've changed their Rewards program! >.< Before, the points/money were piled up specifically for Christmas, but now it's just whenever a certain amount of money is used. Grr! That was perfect for Christmas shopping for my bookworm friends...
