Buster Gets his Wings
My friend Sarahs cat Buster earned his airborne wings this morning. We have a walkway set up between our balconies so he can come across without falling since he was constanly trying to jump. So she was over and we were having coffee in my kitchen when we saw him comeover to baocony to munch some cat grass I have growing. Then he started to walk around on the railing which he has done before and it always makes me nervous since I am on the 3rd floor. Finished saying the same thing to Sarah when he lost his footing as it has been sprinkling this morning and fell. We shrieked simultanously and barrelled for the front door. Got down to the parking lot to hopefully find him okay.
Luckily he had landed on a balcony a level down Unfortunatley that person is gone for work stuff so we couldn't get him that way so the girl next to him was so we from her balcony which is directly below mine managed to get him to come over by first trying to use and ironing board as a walk way that didn't work so I came up got the othe walkway Sarah got his treats and we were able to coax him over and save him. Needless to say he is no longer allowed out on the balconies for a while. He seems okay but damn I almost had a heart attack. So now we have two airborne kitties in the building.
