Its the Snow That Never Ends!
How things have been...
Last weekend it Snowed, not enough to stick to the streets, but it did snow and it was very pretty. We got maybe an inch.
Wens-Thurs it snowed again, 2-4 inches, covered the road, my mom got into a wonderful adventure when trying to come up the very-curvy and trying-to-be-vertical hill and dad had to go help her and then stayed to play good Samaritan. I scraped his side of the driveway 'cause we're right halfway up a 45 degree hill and getting up it and into the driveway while there's snow is a bitch. We've been pretty much staying inside unless its absolutely necessary to go out.
Now its snowing AGAIN, we have definitely topped four inches,anything that melted is back, and its been subzero temperatures for the last 24-30 hours (I'm kinda worried about this outdoors cat that our house is in the territory of, but whenever we see her she seems okay, and we know she has owners-we got to watch her grow up over the summer). Whenever I look outside my window I see less and less of my car and more and more of the large white mound the car is under.
And Joy of Joys, we're supposed to get even MORE snow over the next week, right up to, and during X-mas! At least I got my shopping done (Thank You practice of X-mas lists and BnN!), but I still have to wrap and put them under the tree (which we put up downstairs 'cause the cats REALLY like the ornaments).
Then there was that whole thing announced about IE, so now I'm giving FireFox a try, and while I am holding back judgment until I've used it at least a month, I have discovered just how many bookmarks I have and am now reorganizing them, all 5,125 of them.
Yeah, I don't know how I did it either.
Temp jobs are still non-existent, V said that they would probably get a bunch of calls after the first, so while the snow is coming down I'm not gonna even try to call them, I'll wait until after X-mas or new years or something. Until then I am not allowing myself into ANY shopping areas until the next job. Which kinda sucks, 'cause the only real places to hang out are the shopping malls. Oh well, chat practice ho!
