Yes I'm still alive...
*rubs hands* Okay, general life update here we go!
My goal this Nano was to do 500 words per day, so I should be at about 6k right now...and lets just say I'm not. For some reason I do my best when I write a rough draft and then type it up which I will admit slows me down but it means I'm not going back and either rewriting or deleting half of what I've already done.
For those you who hate Prop 8 Check this out. This in a nutshell sums up why I can't understand those who support Prop 8 and other legislature like it.
The first major storm of the season is rollong in, there's been floods, evacuations, and some damage (a small dam in a partk burst but they should be done fixing it soon), but so far no deaths-unfortunatly that will probably change once nightfalls and people start going to bed, but we'll see. Once more I thank my stars that my parents bought a house on the flat part of a hill ABOVE the local stream, the odds of us getting flodded are nonexistent.
Temp jobs have dried up, but with the back to school vaccinations, check-ups and last minute moves out of the way that's to be expected, hopefully I'll get something later this week.
We've cleaned the house so my nose is VERY happy and the cats are freaked out as all hell by the vacume cleaner, but that's normal.
