So I'm doing the
Snowflake Method for writing this time and things were going pretty well until I got to Step 5 last friday, printed it up, and asked my mom to take a look at it. As we went over it she pointed out some rather glaring Plot Holes, most small but there was one or two big enough for our galaxy to go through and have plenty of room left to do the fraggin' samba.
So I spent the weekend working on said Plot Holes, then integrating what I'd worked out into what I already had. With all the reworking I decided to start over and I'm back at Step 4, 3/4 done and it looks like I could just work on the Synopsis and hit 50K! No, seriously, Step 2 is a paragraph with one line per major plot point and it's almost a page long!
On the bright side, I get to invent my own disease! Woot!
