Here's an interesting
story: A best-selling Christian author has invited two prominent Atheists to a debate. He says that in the debate to be held on May 5 (live streaming on the web and recorded by ABC for Nightline) he will scientifically prove that God exists. I have no clue how he is going to do that though the article quotes him as saying that Evolution is unscientific. Hopefully he has more of an argument than dissing Evolution. However, the last quote in the article (below), if accurate, doesn't give me much hope.
[T]here is something more sinister here than a few people not believing in God,” concluded the author. “Why would so many be so bitter against Christianity in particular? Why aren't they making videos that blaspheme Buddha or Mohammed or Ghandi? We made our own video clip and posted it on www.Hollywoodblasphemy.com to expose why.
Not only is Gandhi spelled incorrectly, when did he (Gandhi) become associated with any religion? I assume the dude is talking about Hinduism, but if that's the extent of his knowledge, God has better find a better spokesman soon.
And in a sadly ironic note, if he disses Gandhi, there will be mobs rioting and burning effigies all over India.
