January the 5: I like this CD too much...

^ For the record the CD is the new Taylor Swift one, Fearless. Usually I hate country, maybe because she actually uses her voice? Anyway, been having lots of thunder too, I'm pretty sure that's what was shaking the desk, not the printer keeling over after printing my 9 page paper+endnotes, bibliography and title page. Grr, I hate Chicago style, MLA is better! And while I'm on the subject, endnotes are stupid, I hate to have to keep flipping back, footnotes are so much more convenient.
School news, they have added somewhere between 7 and 10 new cameras depending on who you ask, I am counting at least seven new ones, four in the upstairs hallways, one in the graphic arts lab, two in teacher's rooms according to shader, one in the cafeteria, anyway, not even sure why they're using them. The logical reason, to catch purse snatchers and stuff doesn't fly, I think they have to get a police permit to actually use them, it's something strange and illogical, hey don't look at me, I think it's dumb too! Grumble grumble...
Oh and the doctors figured out what was wrong with Phantom. Don't think I've posted, but she seemed even quieter and more out of it when I've seen her lately and had been having some fainting sprees. Turns out she has mono and it looks like she got it from the school's water fountains (to quote shader who was also there, we were all in the library before school, "Fuck" since we both drink out of them a lot). I figure that since I haven't gotten it yet that I'm probably good. My mom hopes that they have her on a lot of strong antibiotics, she got it in college and had a fever so bad that she had to go to the hospital (and the girl in the bed next to her had just had a breast-reduction surgery, before she told that story I didn't even know they did those...). The doctors also think that when she fell down the stairs awhile ago (and broke her leg) that she either hit her head and gave her a concussion or the whiplash on her neck gave her one, bad stuff doesn't come in threes in her families, it comes in dozens...
Speaking of doctors, apparently Leigh has something going on as well. What that is no one knows, yesterday the doctors thought she had appendicitis but as of this morning (getting this news second hand from Shader) they don't know. She also seems to have health problems, actually, all of my friends seem to have health problems, the worst I have is this permanently runny nose and sore throat. I was also going to ask her if she has the second volume of The Wallflower anime since I just won it in a contest. Actually, I won a lot of stuff, I'll post pictures late, not interested in some of it (and one DVD I already have) but there are still 5 DVDs I'll try out, just not right now with all my work it looks like...
La~ti~da, um, finished E&F today, don't think I'll get to VKG tomorrow, but probably Wednesday, hope I'll have time to post tomorrow, not making any bets on it. So yeah, signing off now!

anime, contest, school, medical issues, friends
