I so need to update more regulary
Once again I have failed to have a daily blog. Ah well, I have all summer to work on it. In anycase, I saw Pirates of the Carribean 3 today. My verdict: loads better than the second one and it was pretty good. I think they could have done more with Calypso though... and it turns out that an importan scene was cut out! I found this out from some of the lovely people over on avatarspirit.net (ASN) and one of them made a lj post which can be found here: http://rawles.livejournal.com/251789.html Needless to say that this will have spoilers, so don't read it if you haven't seen the movie yet!
Although there was one funny scene (okay, there were a lot but I won't type all of them!) in the beginning of the movie. It's when Elizabeth has to take out all of her 50 million guns out of pretty much every place you can think to hide one and then some. The only other person I know who comes close to that would be the character Briar in Tamora Pierces circle books (tamora-pierce.com/) and then he just pulls about 17 knives out of his clothes before a fight. And I have to say that he is one of my favorite characters of all time.
Let's see, over Memoiral Weekend I had three day-long headaches (a lot of people were/are, we all blame it on the pollen). And I did battle with the tennis ball machine of DOOM and I think I won. Well, I didn't get hit and my brother got hit several times... And my mom and I have been getting into some epic battles over whether or not I will be taking AP English III next year, I think my mom may have backed down after see realized that six our of my eight classes next year will be honors otherwise (the only two that won't be are religion and lunch since honors aren't even offered for those). Heck, I will be getting college credit for a junior level history class!
Oh and I have started watching two anime. One is the anime version of Tsubasa: Reservior Chronicles (I think that I will work more on my TRC/Holic theory post this summer, it's gonna take a while). I am annoyed whenever they change something, but as of episode three it still looks okay. And I have started watching a new anime (I think that only nine or so episodes are out) called Romeo x Juilet. It's based on Shakespear's play of course (and he is actually a minor character which amuses me to no end) and it seems interesting and has some kick ass sword fight scenes.
