Hmm, that sounds kinda backwards for a religious school doesn't it, I mean, they SHOULD be the last group to try and eat your school? Then again, there are some people who are of the opinion that all organized religion eats your soul...
Anyway, that's why I haven't posted recently SENIOR YEAR STINKS (SO FAR). I've got reading it about three different classes each night (English I can understand, History I can understand, even if I don't have the book, but Statistics and Probablity? That's just strange), plus I've got Latin homework and studying almost every night (I was expecting that though) and of course my long bus rides. I have also discovered that I have very few classes with my friends, like, I only see shader in religion and then we have lunch together, nothing with Leigh, nothing with Phantom (not even homeroom, I'm not sure if she is really considered a senior actually, the school doesn't seem to know either) but I did find out that I have my first class with the vampire, he actually sits right behind me in history (startled both of us when I turned around and realized who it was).
Ah, speaking of history, I got the form today for my school's inaguration trip and... it costs $680.
Wow, okay, I know gas costs a lot (we're taking a bus up), and I know we will be there for four days total but still, I don't know if I'll be able to go. We're talking about the people who can't afford a new toilet now, and those are a lot cheaper I believe. So this is now up in the air, I do want to go, I think it will be interesting (I don't even care about the historic part, but I am really confused as to why McCain choose a really inexperienced women as his running mate, and they say that Obama has no experience...).
Continuing the talk about expensive stuff, my brother found the World Ends With You at our local gamestop today, good right? Nope, that game costs $40, I don't have $40! If I did I would be buying books, that's more than my allowance for a month! Geeze, and it doesn't help that A LOT of books by authors I like are coming out and not being bought by the library. Seriously, I'm alternating between reading A Wizard's Heir (I only read the first book in July and a third book is now out), Ruler of the Realm (which came out, two years ago? and the fourth book is out, which the library has of course), if I could find it I would be reading Raven Rise (I NEED this book), found out today (by seeing it on the floor of B&N) that the print version of Melting Stones is now out, and I found out amazing news the other day. Bruce Coville finally published the third book in the Unicorn Chronicles series, I have been waiting for this book since 5th grade. Sooooo.... 7 years? Kinda sounds like that book in Library War actually, but anyway, AND I found out today that he was invited to write that series in 1991 but the first book was published in 1994, and there is a fourth book in process. Dude, that means that the series is as old as I am, and that's kinda old for a series! Anyway, still spazzing over that, I even snuck into the children's section at B&N to find it (and I saw another interesting book or two, I don't think it was the new Artemis Fowl book, better bug the library about that one as well...).
Soo school, besides being evil, was something I missed a good deal of today. I had a doctors appointment (which meant that I missed my first period study hall, latin class, mass thank God, pun intended, and religion class). I'm happy to say that I wasn't delusional and did have a problem and have had antibotics perscribed (which my mom said should help clear up my skin, when she had mono she was on so many that her skin was the best it ever has been). Got to school, worked on cutting out pieces for pinhole camera, listened to poems in english class, had lunch with shader (when I learned why she had gone to the oral surgueon recently, apparently when she got her wisdom teeth removed some bacteria got in and now she has an infection inside inside her mouth, and it's been two months so this is getting dangerous), was bored in math class, and the teacher broke his computer in history class. Which was actually a bad thing, we have our first test on Tuesday and I don't have the book yet, I just barrowed Noah's and read it on the bus (and we have our nice new bus back, buh-bye ghetto bus!).
So yeah, I also have a strong urge to finish watching Princess Tutu now since I saw an awesome AMV about it. I'm going to try to have some REALLY text heavy posts this weekend, so friend's pages beware!
Signing off.,
