July 17th and 18th: Chores, chores chores
Gah, I've cleaned two bathrooms and two kitchen floors today, and I still have another bathroom and pantry to go! And that bathroom I have to be careful, that's the one with all the insecticide from my brother's spraying the other night... oh I don't think I told this story since it happened Wednesday night.
Any ho, Wednesday, after Ted leaves (he's coming over at least every other night now, it's drivin me bonkers!) I was about to take my shower when I saw Midnight in the bathroom. He had been chasing a bug earlier and yup, it was a larger than average cockroach. Ew, get my brother to kill it, but he used a lot of insectide to get it to stop moving. Like seriously, over the wall, towel (his, not mine thank goodness), the floor, the bathtub, I had to put another towel down I'm so scared of stepping in it! And with good reason, later I was taking a shower and I got something in my eye, maybe it was just shampoo, but dang, 12th level of hell or so was in my eye at the time. I had to get out, and once I took my contact out it hurt even more. I found a hair in my eye to boot but still, I'm worried that some of the poison got in. Haven't worn my contacts for two days now, just to be on the safe side, and so that I'll be able to wear them at the anime meet up tomorrow.
Squeal, I get to see some of my AZ friends tomorrow, first time since AZ itself, hope we all manage to find each other at the park, lol. And I finished the hat for my Shiki cosplay (not perfect, of course since I made it, and it looks like a jocky's hat), made the necklace, I can make the bracelet in two seconds, but I didn't have time for the pouch. Oh well, c'est la vie, oh crap, I'm typing French now.
Not much else is going on, lots of Avatar (tomorrow I shall have a special avatar post) and I swear I'll try to type up some long overdue reports soon. Although, about the AZ report, we still haven't gotten the cosplay contest DVDs or know the winners of the Scavengar Hunt so I am amused that my report won't be the very last AZ thing to hit the net.
