January 30th and 31st: "I got shot in the hip.... no no! Not the gun kind!"
-my brother on the phone telling his friend about why he wasn't in school today. Turns out he has strepe and they had to give him a shot of peniclian into his hip because he had had it for so long and was risking getting rhumetic fever.
Anyway, I feel like it's time to give an anime/manga update:
DN ANGEL WILL BE BACK IN FEBRUARY!!!!!! WOHOO! And now I just have to find somewhere that I will be able to read it, this will be trickier than usual since it is completely released so far in English.
And when I was looking for DN*Angel I came across a manga (originally Chinese) called Divine Melody. Sounded cool, but I can't find ANY info on it! Has anyone here at least heard of it?
Started Creasent Moon courtsey of Leigh, not one of my favorites though.
Read chapters 13 and 14 of Shugo Chara. Yeah, my theory on the planetary guy is right! Well, one of them anyway, only time will tell if the other one is right as well.
Tsubasa ch 181: HOMG THAT MAKES SOOOOO MUCH SENSE!
Code Geass trailer that has been on the internet: O_O What the heck is going on?!? It's like, back to normal! Or are we seeing massive amounts of flashbacks... and I think a translation of that goes "One year after the gunshot" is that one year in the anime (that would be strange) or one year in real life (that would make sense).
Read volume 5 of Plantium Garden and I should get volumes 6 and 7 of Hot Gimmick tomorrow.
So yeah, oh and I just found out that it looks like HunterxHunter will be restarting in March! Shader will be happy to hear this.
Anyway, yesterday, my mom has given me permis to skip next Tuesday! Yay then I won't have to run around like an idiot for Mardi Gras! I do like running around like crazy sometimes, but only on my terms and I decide what I dress up like! And no masks, I really don't like masks (I think it's a self-preservation thing, I can't see what someone looks like, they must be hiding something, and if you are going to kill/hurt someone you are going to hide that at first).
On Wednesday we had club day and I had good news from that and bad news. Good news, advil+quite time in cafeteria away from paint fumes cure headaches! And the Marine Bio Quiz Bowl isn't this weekend! Bad news, it's the weekend of the 22nd, which means that I might not be able to go to the anime meet up that me and some other people have been planning since like Christmas! Trying to work this out although there are some complications (like the fact that the Duke Marine Lab is on the coast, not where the rest of Duke is which is much closer to home). Although I did start laughing when the people on the AZ forums started bashing my "complications." Gotta love those people, and that's why I want to go to the meet up! Also because phantom gave me the idea that I could do a simple Gauken Alice cosplay (and I thought that I can turn the dress into something for Emma later).
Yeah, I know it's weird, oh and I saw Tron on Tuesday! It's funny I was watching it and going "Wow this is so outdated, yet I know that this is GOOD for it's time." Seriously, when I was in about 2nd or 3rd grade (so in 1998 or 1999) my brother and I saw these videos called Imagination which were a lot of shorts that were some of the first completely computer based, things, for a lack of a better word. Frankly they freaked me out a bit, but I remember how much better CGI has gotten, and in some places Tron was actually better!
God, that made me feel old, and I'm only sixteen!
Hmm, I have been getting some new music on itunes. Butterfly from DDR, World Without Dander (Code Lyoko theme song) and Keep Holding On (from the Eragon soundtrack). Ahhh, I simply love to listen to music these days.
Thursday:
We had mass (and so assembly dress and the dreaded pantyhose, nooooo!) even though the bishop got sick and didn't come. I swear they all hate us, no idea why though, honest!
"You know, I can't help but think about how much you look like the teen CEO of some company."
"Man, why does everyone keep saying that! Let me tell you, you're the third person to tell me that, and the other two know that I'm representing the Soviet Union at Catholic!"
-me to the vampire, btw, Catholic is short for the Model UN Conference at Catholic University in DC. He seriously does, nice suit, tie tied (hmm, wondering about those words, deeper meaning?), hair that varies between dirty blonde, ash blonde, resin blonde, and a few streaks of bottle blonde in a slightly slicked back hair style, glasses, a serious expression, he's got it all going!
Got a headache a little later, I'm wondering if it's because I'm wearing my glasses. I tried to put in my contacts this morning but my eyes got all hot like I was about to cry and they were watering like crazy. Not quite painful, but odd. But that's not as odd as the other thing happening to me the past few days, my sense of smell has increased. And no offense, but human race, you stink. Yes I know that you take a shower everyday, but do you know how disconserting it is to smell where someone has been? My mom sympathsizes, her sense of smell increased when she was pregant and she rode the Metro in DC everyday!
That's not all but I gotta get off soon, need to finish my poetry annotation for English soon.
